Tri-ply That’s Tried and True
Durability meets dependability when it comes to our stainless steel cookware. Because you wouldn’t trust anything less to make your family’s time-honored recipes. It’s thanks to three layers that work together to bring you quality cookware that performs: 400-series magnetic stainless steel and a 1050A aluminum core. So not only can you trust this cookware year after year, generation after generation, it’ll also give you the versatility to cook anywhere (gas, induction, electric, ceramic glass — you name it).
The Difference is in the Details
The handles of our American Kitchen cookware stay cool when you’re cooking on the stove and can also withstand the heat of the oven for ultimate ease and efficiency.
From Our Family To Yours
For over 100 years we’ve been handcrafting the highest quality cookware in America (and we wouldn’t have it any other way). As a multi-generational, family-owned manufacturer in Wisconsin we created American Kitchen because we believe your cookware should be built to last.
Love This Saucepan
What a great saucepan! Heats evenly, and I use it frequently with the steamer, which is wonderful. The handle stays cool and it cleans easily.
The steamer insert and lid do not seem to be steel
I see that you sell a stainless steel insert for $115. Is this steamer insert different than the steamer insert I got with my 3 quart saucepan? Same question with the lid that came with the saucepan. A magnet will not stick to either of those. So to get a stainless steel steamer insert and lid I am guessing I have to buy those separatly. Correct?
For that in-between-size need & worth it
I've purchased and used it because it fits that in-between-size need. Love the handle which does NOT conduct heat. Lid is stainless steel but, if I want, the glass lid from a previously-purchased 1-quart Am.Kitchen stainless steel saucepan fits too. Pricey but worth it.
Nice quality American made cookware
I like the design and construction quality of this 3-qt. saucepan. I'm following the use recommendations on the American Kitchen website so that hopefully it will last for years. Even though this cookware is pricey it is what Made in the U.S.A. should be. I will likely buy more.
Cleans up well.
