Our cookware is made of three layers for exceptional (and consistent) results every single time. The inside is stainless steel for incredible durability. The outside layer is made of high-density 400-series stainless steel, which means you can use it on any surface (gas, induction, electric, ceramic glass — you name it). The 1050A aluminum core is commercial grade for ultimate performance.

How do I cook with my stainless steel cookware?
Always preheat your pans on low to medium heat before adding your ingredients. Although you can cook with oil if you want to, it’s not a necessity.

What utensils should I use on my American Kitchen Cookware?
Feel free to use your metal tools on our stainless steel pans — they won’t hurt them one bit.

How should I clean my stainless steel pans?
Allow cookware to cool to room temperature before cleaning. Rinse pan and wash in soapy water to remove stains or stuck-on food. For stubborn stains or discoloration, gently rub in a paste of water and a non-abrasive, non-chlorine stainless steel cleanser. FYI, it’s also dishwasher safe.

My 8 Inch stainless steel skillet

The skillet is as great as described. The skillet heats evenly and so easy to clean. American Kitchen products are the best. I don't foresee me purchasing any other brand.

Better than expected!

I have been using the pan for a year. (I bought a set of 3 different sized frying pans and a couple of lids for the pans.) I cook lunch or dinner perhaps 5 times or more a week and these pans are far superior to the average pans you might buy at a store like Target. Much more comparable (I could safely say very comparable) in quality and function to "All Clad" than to "Revere Ware" but priced lower. It is maybe triple what Revere Ware costs but half to a third of the price of All Clad. It cleans easily (cleans as well as my non-stick pans after a 10 minute soak in water), cooks evenly, and doesn't need to be "seasoned" like a cast iron pan. If you cook daily or often, it will save you time and give you better results than if you used an inferior set of pans. (i.e. shorter clean-up time and less re-cooking because you scorch something). My next purchase will be an American Kitchen sauce pan or two, and a stockpot.

excellent frying pan!

I have every size of cast iron pan you can get, I needed a new stainless steel fry pan to replace my 60 year old pan from Grandma. It cooks great, no hot spots and a nice even temperature throughout. I doesn't get to hot, I love it and my wife likes it even better!

American kitchen is at the top of the class! I love mine so much that this is the second time I’ve Purchased the 8” and the 10” for a shower present for one of my nieces. They clean up beautifully and are stainless steel and perform as well as Teflon. Simply the best!
