Meet Your New Favorite Nonstick
Cooking should be fun — and easy (especially cleaning up). That’s why we created a superior nonstick that makes life in the kitchen even better. The PPG Eterna® non-stick coating is incredibly smooth and thicker than other non-stick alternatives, so it’ll hold up for years to come. And because its oven safe up to 500 degrees, it’s more versatile than ever before.
Better Than the Rest
Get the best of both worlds with tri-ply stainless steel cookware that also has a nonstick coating. 400-series magnetic stainless steel and a 1050A aluminum core work together for ultimate durability and dependability (plus, you can use it on gas, induction, electric and ceramic glass stovetops).
From Our Family To Yours
For over 100 years we’ve been handcrafting the highest quality cookware in America (and we wouldn’t have it any other way). As a multi-generational, family-owned manufacturer in Wisconsin we created American Kitchen because we believe your cookware should be built to last.
Disappointed, after searching and finding cookware made in the USA, I was happy to replace my full set of fry pans with American Kitchen pans. But one month of use and the non-stick surface is coming off the small pan, the one I use the most. What maybe worse is it is finding it’s way into my meal. This is a first for me, usually pan breaks down on the bottom after years of use. This is happening along the top rim.
Good quality pans. Cooks well.
Good choice, good price, great experience.
Yes, I like my fry pan set. May come back for lids.
Non stick skillet set
Look, feel & heat great! Awesome that there is still cookware that is made in the USA and I am happy to support my fellow Wisconsinites! They are heavyweight skillets for sure. The only negative is that the non-stick surface finish of the inside bottom of the pans is rough, like over spray on a spray painted surface. The sides & bottom of the 8" & the sides of the 10" pans are nice and smooth with just a slight orange peel effect. The 12" pan has the rough over spray effect on the sides and bottom. It seems like the same spray nozzle was used for all 3 sizes of pans and they just moved the nozzle farther away to get coverage on the larger surfaces causing a sandy surface or perhaps a second coat was applied just too light for the coating to wet out. We have only used the pans a few times and so far nothing sticks and clean up is very easy. Just a bit disappointing for cookware in this price range. I have not seen coating issues like this in much lower priced cookware and I really expected higher quality in premium American made products. If the 10" & 12" skillets were as smooth as the 8" skillet is, I would be very happy with them and give them the top rating.
They are a pleasure to use. Food cooks well and evenly. The pans are of a very high quality. One of the main reasons I purchased them is that they are made in America!
